Monday and Tuesday really just blurr together. The crowds really came in on Monday - and Tuesday was even worse. We'd been on almost all the rides we wanted to try - so it was mostly just repeats of the favorites.
We also decided that if we wanted a picture with any characters - these would be the days to wait for them. And WAIT we did! We got in the Princess line....we waited over an hour! Abby got tired of waiting - but we did get to see three Princesses that we hadn't seen the last time...
Princess Tiana
Princess Ariel
And Princess Belle
While waiting for Eric, Chris and Andrew to get off Astro Blasters, we ran into Mary Poppins and Burt!
We got a photo with Mickey too :)
We spent some time at California Adventure because it was still less crowded over there. We wanted to go on Toy Story Mania...ya, we should have waiting the 15 minutes the last week, because the wait was 1 and a half hours!!! HOLY COW! That was a long wait. I guess it was worth it... but I'm not 100% sure about that. Andrew was not a happy camper in line!
We saw Buzz Lightyear - that was cool!
We went on Tower of Terror at least 4 more times for Abby... it was her Absolute favorite ride! And we spent a lot of time on the carousel for Andrew and Eric, while Abby rode California Screamin'
We took a turn on the huge Mickey Carousel. Oh my - my knees were jello! It was so high. Andrew was the only one wanting to look out the windows -leaning against them. He thought it was so cool.... It makes my knees weak just thinking about it.
Andrew was asleep during this picture, but it turned out cute.
We saw Mr. Incredible!
We found Mickey on the street too - that was fun! Andrew loved his nose!
Eric loved having a map, and trying to figure out where we were and what to do next.Andrew enjoyed running around at the water park in bug's land. No one was here, because people think it's cold in California!! :)
We bought the kids lollipops to eat on the way home... they are so huge!
We had such a great time at Disneyland! These last two days were so crazy crowded though, that the fun started to fizzle. We were getting really sick of fighting the crowds, especially having no crowds the week before. We had planned on staying over that last night and going home in the morning, but by 5:00pm on Tuesday we knew we were done. So, we bribed the kids with lollipops, headed to our hotel and packed up. We were out of California about 6:00pm. We ate dinner on the way out - and about 7:30 the kids were all asleep. We decided to just drive through the night... it was a LONG night - and Chris and I just had to talk all night while we drove to keep each other awake. We did stop at about 4:30 am for a little nap, but other than that, we just kept driving. We pulled into our house at 7:30 AM on Wednesday morning. It was nice to be home...but kind of sad to leave the land of vacation. Now it's back to real life. But look at all the memories we made - it was such a fun time to be together as a family and really just hang out. We loved it...and we can't wait to go back someday.
