Family Vacation Day 8

Another day at the "Merriest Place on Earth"

We had another great day. Because it was Friday the park opened at 8am and didn't close until midnight. We got there right as it opened and stayed as late as we could! (by 10 the kids were dropping like flies)

The park still wasn't too crowded, but it was more crowded than the days before... but we still got to do a lot!
We went to the Jedi Training Academy - of course Abby got picked to do the Jedi training. That was pretty cool. Eric was too scared to even volunteer to do it!

We told Eric that if he would be brave and go on some of the bigger rides - like Space Mountain, Star Tours, the Matterhorn and the Big Thunder Railroad, we'd buy him a hat. He picked this Mickey Storm Trooper hat. Of course - we had to get something for Abby too - she was totally brave enough! She picked out the sparkly pink hat. They had fun wearing them.We decided to just suck it up and wait in line for Mickey and Minnie - I'm glad we did
We went over to California Adventure for half the day again. We went to the Animation Academy - where we learned how to draw Donald Duck. This was my favorite thing to do, Abby really enjoyed it as well. This was in the theater to see Aladdin. We got seats on the fourth row! It was really cool to see that production, the kids were enthralled the entire time. That was really neat.

We loved World of Color so much that we decided to go back and do it again. We got places on the front row - where you DO get wet!! It was so fantastic! We had to wait quite a while for the show to start, but we just ate dinner (Peanut Butter and Jelly...mmm). Eric really was so fascinated with this show - I'm glad we went again!

Here's a little taste of what it was like - seriously so awesome!!!!
