Canning

This is the first year I have canned on my own. It has been a fun learning experience, but I still think it's funner to can along side someone! Like my mom or sister... better conversations than with just me and the peaches!

This year I have done pickle relish...oh that was good! I also got a new salsa recipe. This is the salsa pictured below. It looks rather weird. These are all the colors of veggies I put in... red - tomato - then onions, yellow peppers, and dark green are the jalepenos and cilentro... mmm, it is the best HOT salsa ever!!!!


I did peaches this year too. Here's my nice still life of the peaches. I just love the peach/red color of the peaches. I think they are the most beautiful fruit!
