Conference weekend was so refreshing this year! We finally have kids old enough to let us sit through the sessions and actually listen. It was so wonderful to hear the Prophet and his apostles speak, and to feel that wonderful spirit that you only get from listening to conference. I really enjoyed it this year. Abby had fun watching for different things, ties, glasses, the prophet, pictures of Jesus, temple, etc. She got a piece of candy each time she saw one of those things. It actually worked. Eric just enjoyed coloring. Saturday night while the men went to the Priesthood session, us girls had a little tea party with the grandkids. It was really fun to dress up and have a little fun. We colored eggs and had some fun treats.
This weekend was also great because we got to celebrate my mom's birthday! We had everyone over for dinner on Sunday. Oh, it was so so good!! We had kabobs, salads and yummy cake :) We even had a little Easter Egg hunt for the grandkids. They loved finding eggs filled with candy and coins. They felt rich with their penny, nickles and dimes jingling in their pockets. A few even found quarters! That definitely made their evening. Grandma and Grandpa Jacobson joined us as well. It's fun to have them close by and get to see them quite often.
Here are all the grandkids lined up ready to find Easter Eggs.We found Eric napping with his trucks during conference. This is a new habit he has... We put him down for a nap, or to go to bed, and we find him like this, with all his big trucks or sometimes with ALL his cars, trucks, planes and trains... He doesn't like to be seperated from his most favorite toys!

It looks like you guys had a great weekend. Thanks for sharing with all of us. Thomas did pretty well at listening for words. We played a bingo game with him and he really liked it. See you soon!
The kids look cute sitting around the table. Wish we were there. I love the sleeping pic of Eric with his trucks...reminds me of Hunter.
