West Bountiful Independence Day Celebration

West Bountiful celebrates Independence day the weekend before the 4th. We have come to love this wonderful celebration. It isn't as crowded or crazy as Centerville's celebration on the 4th. I should have taken a picture of the amount of candy each of the kids got. Seriously they got a ton! The kids love the parade. The parade route is very shady and the parade is short too, great combination. The kids were so excited for the parade to start. The girls are all wearing masks that Grandma Jacobson bought them. The thought they were just the coolest things ever and wore them the whole parade :) What cute little animals we have....
Kaden and Eric enjoying the wait.
The kids were so excited they couldn't stop jumping around when they heard the sirens coming that meant the parade was finally starting.
After the parade we went down to the park to see what they had there. We got some shaped balloons from a clown and painted pictures. Eric just had fun getting everyone wet with his squirt bottle. He was having a blast!

That night we went to Eden to see our cousin Katie at her wedding reception. Then we came home just in time for the West Bountiful Fireworks. It was a really fun day. 4th of July is my absolute favorite holiday :) No gifts...just GOOD FAMILY FUN!! Next week we get to do it all over again :) I can't wait.

Looks like fun. What a great prep for the 4th of July! I love those masks, and it looks like Eric had fun getting Chris all wet! That is great!
