We had the best 24th of July celebration ever! We decided to not go to the hottest parade in history - and just have an enjoyable family BBQ. It went rather well - and I think everyone enjoyed themselves! Then we headed up to Mueller park for the most amazing fireworks (and the loudest too!) The kids loved it and we really enjoyed ourselves as well!Abby got a dum dum sucker - and shared with Andrew. He was IN LOVE with that! He kept trying to reach it from Abby. It was really cute.
Abby and Eric waiting for fireworks to start. Eric actually didn't last - he fell asleep in the middle of the fireworks and only occasionally opened his eyes when they got really loud.
On July 24 - Saturday morning - we went up to Clearfield - for the blessing of Miles. He is only a week old - but situations made it better for all to do it this weekend while everyone was in town.
Here's the happy parents -
We got a cute family shot of us as well!
Here are three of the four grandkids to be born this year - the last one is coming in October! Andrew was pretty chill - McKaylee just couldn't handle so many boys! - and Miles was just sleeping away calmly.. I can't wait to see how Becky's baby handles all this. Just think - Andrew will most likely be sitting up in that picture!
Here's Andrew and Miles- they'll be good buds, can't you tell??
I left Andrew on the blanket at the brunch after the blessing...and like little flies all the little kids came over to play with him - he was loving the attention!

Do not feel bad at all for missing the parade. Good grief. It was so bad and long and hot. The family BBQ was a much better idea! :)
Looks fun! I love the lollipop video! Cute Andrew.
