Snow Day

 Friday January 11 we woke up to a TON of snow - and the snow kept falling, and falling.  We got a phone call at 6:00am telling us that school was cancelled for the day! Yeah!  Our first snow day.

What do you do on a snow day?  Stay warm inside and drink hot chocolate!  Go camping in the living room, build snow forts and play geo tracks! :) 

 Ethan enjoyed the tents as much as the kids did.  Abby and Eric slept in the tents on Friday night - fun fun... warm winter camping!

 Andrew had a hay day with his geo tracks - we set them up in different places throughout the day.

 Eric and Abby played all afternoon in the snow over at my parents house.  They spent the day on sleds being pulled behind my dad's 4-wheeler.  They had a fantastic time!

 Saturday we played in snow at our house - digging in the huge piles!

It's always fun to have a change in pace once in a while - the kids sure enjoyed the snow - and I enjoyed the peace :)  WIN WIN
