At the beginning of December we made a quick trip to Salt Lake. Chris had to be at a training for a day - so we all decided to join him and make a visit to our family. We first stopped by Dave and Lori's on the way.... had a fun time playing in the snow while Chris finished work at the mine.
While at Grandma's we celebrated Ethan's birthday. He got some pretty awesome new toys! He loved ripping little pieces of wrapping paper off and handing them to us. We thought we'd be there all day. Good thing Andrew stepped in and helped out ;)
We enjoyed a great snow storm. Eric LOVED helping Grandpa shovel the driveway. He was in HEAVEN. He loves playing in the snow. He could stay out there for hours on end...and he did!
We got to spend a little time with my sister and her family - we opened our annual Christmas tree ornament. Andrew and Eric got Lego Star Wars ornaments (for the hours and hours they have spent playing the PS3 game together...) Abby got a swimmer, for the hours she has spent at swim team practice this year! And Ethan got a baby ornament that we put a picture of him crawling in. It's been a fun year with him!
Chris and I were treated to a night at the Jazz game, courtesy of Deloitte (where Chris used to work) We had a great time sitting on the third row... holy cow - I've never been that close. It was a whole new ball game. You could actually hear what they were saying, you could see everything that happened and it was awesome! Thanks Deloitte for a fun night!
It was fun to be able to go on a date with Chris - we had a great time together :)
Sunday we went to church with the Bradley family - but they ended up sending everyone home because the heater wasn't working. Bummer :) So we got to hang out at Grandma's house and have hot cocoa and enjoy the morning with them. Ethan got to open another birthday present....he was loving the attention and toys!
We had a fun quick trip - it was great to be with family and enjoy our time together!
