Bear Lake

This weekend the kids and I went up to Bear Lake with Grandma and Grandpa Jacobson and Christa and Matt and their kids. On the way up we stopped at Tony Grove Lake. It was as beautiful as ever! Abby loved wading in the water, and Eric of course got wet too.. can't be around water and not get wet!


Grandpa brought his fun toy, the 4-wheeler! The kids (all of us) really enjoyed playing on it. It was a great way to get down to the lake and play. The kids wanted to be on it constantly. It was really fun.

Eric splashing in the water. At first he didn't want to wear a life jacket, and asked everyone to take it off of him. He begged and begged, and no one would give in...and he finally just decided to wear it. After that, he knew the rule and would ask to have his life jacket put on to go in the water. He loved the water! Christa and Matt's family has a water trampoline that we brought out to the lake, and Eric loved jumping off of it into the water. He didn't want anyone to catch him, the little dare devil. He had a ton of fun playing on the beach too.

The big tower that is on the Willey's Bear Lake property. The kids loved going up to the top of this. It made my stomach just turn and my legs shake. I'm not usually afraid of heights, but this one did get to me! Eric loved going up to, and it made me so nervous. I had to go with him every time, but he snuck up there by himself once, and was just waving to us from the top like it was no big deal... oh, my poor nerves :)We had so much fun playing up at Bear Lake and getting raspberry shakes! Chris wasn't able to come with us, but hopefully next time that won't be the case!!
