All About Eric

Eric may only be 2 years old, but he's already got some pretty good and pretty funny habits going on.

when Eric first wakes up...he wants chocolate milk. Not just your normal chocolate milk though, it has to have one scoop of chocolate or one squirt of chocolate, and one squirt of strawberry. Shaken, not stirred, and if Abby's around, it has to be warmed as well. :) He wants this to be served to him downstairs so he can watch Little People.

He says some pretty funny things too:
When you say we need to take a nap or clean up, he says "4 minutes" and he says it like he knows what 4 more minutes will give him. I'm sure he understands that when he says that, he can delay what is coming...
He also says "one more", and holds up one finger when I say "no more" How can you resist a 2 year old saying 1 more with that cute smile and pleading eyes? I never can :)

Eric has to sleep with his blue blanket and white bear, and now his black dog too. And Elmo, but he's not quite as attached to Elmo yet. He also has a train blanket that he is becoming attached to. A few nights ago, we left the white bear at Grandma's. Bedtime came around and no white bear. Eric kept asking for bear. We finally calmed him down by telling him that Bear was having a sleep over at Grandma's. He was okay with that.

Eric will not wear overalls. He simply won't. I put them on, he takes them off. So, all those cute overalls that we have for him...well, we will have to just put them back in storage, because he's firm on that rule of his.

Eric will put his clothes down the laundry shoot, but only if you bribe him with chocolate milk.

Eric loves, LOVES, loves trains. He likes to hear them, see them and play with them. He gets excited whenever we find books about them or go to ride them. He is fascinated by them. He also really enjoys his trucks. He puts everything in his trucks. He likes to have his Little People drive them around. Little People are a big part of his life right now too. He always wants to watch the show!

That's Eric... our cute little guy! :)

Lol, I'm glad you posted some things about Eric, I don't think I know him very well. He's always so quiet... So, one squirt of chocolate and one squirt of strawberry, huh? That's got to be a yummy combination, we haven't tried that one at our house, yet! We can't wait to see you in a few weeks!

So cute! I love the little habits and sayings that 2 and 3 year olds come up with. It makes it all worth it when they are in the unreasonable stage at the same time.
