March has brought some much needed signs of a coming spring! We've had a few days of warmer weather...warm enough to wear short sleeves or a lite jacket. The month started out with a lot of wind. We got out our kite, Eric an Abby loved watching it fly.
We took a field trip to our neighbors house. She has horses, chickens, sheep and a dog. It was so fun to see the baby lambs. Did you know that baby lambs are black and are actually born with tails? Farmers put a band on the tail when they are born so that it will fall off. I didn't know that! The lambs were sure cute and cuddly looking. The chickens were fun to see. They made lots of fun noises! So did Eric. :) I am trying to find an incubator to hatch some chicken eggs, we'll see if that one works out. If it does, I'll be sure to blog it ;)

Looks fun! Let us know how the egg hatching goes. How is Abby's battle wound doing? We are soooo excited for spring around here.
No goats? Tell your neighbor to get some goats! :)
