24th of July

We had a great 24th of July weekend.
We started it off running the Deseret News 10K- we had fun running together.

Then we watched Chris' sister run the Deseret News Marathon through Salt Lake. She's my hero... she made it in 3 hours and 53 minutes!!! Way to go Nat!Then we headed down to Manti for an extended family reunion - the Neil Bradley Family Reunion. We spent the weekend there, camping at the Temple View campground. We went on a hay ride, went swimming, had a great lunch with lots of family, and got to see where some of our ancestors both lived and where they are buried.

This is a dugout like the early pioneers lived in when they first settled Manti. There is a story about some of our ancestors living in one of these, and they had a huge infestation of rattlesnakes. They were in the cupboards and everywhere! The story tells how they got rid of all the snakes without any incident.. great story!Can't wait till the next reunion... tomorrow! :)
