A great day

Wednesday was a great day! My sister and I braved the chilly weather and headed to the free day at the zoo. Eric wasn't too excited -but it was good to get out of the house for a few hours!
Andrew loved the animals - especially the ones that were at eye level for him. He thought the snakes were fantastic. UghHHH...I hope he never wants one of those for a pet!
The giraffes were cool. We watched one stick out it's tongue to grab a branch. Man they have some LONG tongues!!
Andrew enjoyed the elephants. Eric just wanted to go home...
At least Andrew enjoyed our outing. Eric liked being with his cousin for the day, so it all worked out!

Wednesday evening we spent with my parents. The kids were begging to play in the snow. So, after dinner, we bundled up and headed out. Andrew loved it! I just pulled him around on his sled.
Eric loved it too. My parents neighbor has a little hill in the front yard - so they took the sleds and had a blast down the icy snow.
Here's Abby being silly. They stayed outside for nearly an hour playing and trying to build a snow fort. They had a great time.
When we got home from my parents, Chris had just gotten home. So he got to read the kids a bed time story - they LOVE when he does that. What a precious moment in time...
It was one of those days you could copy paste a few times!! :)
