I've sort of fallen off the blogging wagon. But that doesn't mean we haven't done some fun things lately - so let me catch you up a bit....
We've had some super hero fun on the trampoline! Eric and Andrew love acting like they can fly and fight the bad guys.
Eric also loves to show off his groovy moves. We've loved the trampoline we got for Christmas. It's been a lot of fun! Hopefully we won't have too many broken bones along the way from it :)Eric, Andrew and I found a Killdeer nest on our jog one morning. You should have seen the raucous the male bird was throwing to try to distract us! It was amazing to see a nest up so close. It was just right next to the Legacy trail - not two steps off the trail.
Our family took a little field trip to Kennecott Copper Mines.
The boys really enjoyed the trucks. I think Andrew could have watched those trucks all day!
Abby was ok with it, but not quite as interested as the boys. I can't believe how big these trucks are!
Look at this picture of Eric and Abby up close. Abby is trying to get Eric to smile. :) Thanks for your help Abby. :)
Andrew enthralled with the trucks!
After we went to Copperton city park. Cool park! The kids had a lot of fun.
Tunnels, tires, swings, slides...all the fun stuff!
Mothers day was a good day.
We had dinner at my mom's house. It was so delicious! Andrew found a bug in the sandbox, and didn't want to let that big beetle go! He carried it around the entire night, trying to pet it. He wanted to bring it home...but we finally got it hid away before we left!
Me, my mom, and my sister
We went to the Bradley's after dinner to talk to Derik, celebrate mothers day and have a birthday party too... what a night!
This week, we went with my friend and her girls to the Farmington Bay Bird refuge. She home schools, so she set up a little field trip. It was pretty cool. We got to see a bunch of stuffed birds, look at pond scum, and use binoculars to look around at the birds and nests.
Eric got right into it all - he was loving it.
His favorite part was definitely the binoculars! He thought those were so cool! We could have done that for hours.
So far... Mays been good to us. I hope it continues. :)
