Ethan 6 months and first hair cut

 We gave Ethan his first haircut last weekend!  I was sad to cut off that cute soft fuzzy hair...but it was getting a little out of control!  He wasn't so sure about the noise the clippers made...but he didn't cry!

 He wasn't very happy with us when we finished though, at least until we got into the bathtub.  He loves to splash and have a great time in there with his brothers!

Today - June 12th, Ethan turned 6 months old!  I don't know where the last six months went, but they sure flew by! 

Ethan's stats:
   17 pounds 12 oz
   28 inches tall

He is rolling over, sitting up, and loves to make noises using his spit... :)  Maybe he's trying to make bubbles, but it just comes out as noises and drool.  He isn't eating solids yet, every time we have given him anything, he has a hard time digesting it and screams most of the night.  So - we are still working on figuring that out.  The doctor gave us some things to try to help him out.  He loves to play with his siblings!  He loves watching them play.  He doesn't like to lay on his back anymore and does this cute crunch when you lay him down, so he can still see everything.  He is a happy guy, especially when being held.  He doesn't like to sit still.  He wants to get moving.  He loves when you stand him up.  He isn't sleeping through the night yet.  We moved him into our room this week in hopes of trying to teach him to sleep without keeping the other boys awake.  He's been waking Andrew up with his crying, and that has just been making Andrew a miserable little boy!  So - we are working on that!  Hopefully it doesn't take too long, because getting up three times a night still is about killing us!!! 
Ethan loves when Chris rubs his 5 oclock shadow whiskers on his hands - he laughs and laughs.  He loves when daddy holds him and rocks him.  He likes mommy to rock him to sleep.  He loves when Abby takes him in her room to play.  He loves Eric to give him toys, but doesn't like when he picks him up - he sends out the alarm whenever he does.  He tolerates Andrew giving him kisses and hugs.

We love our little Ethan.  He's been a fun addition to the family.  He definitely doesn't fit the mold of our other kids - they were all barely on the chart at this age.  He's a hefty one! :)  But we love his rolls and those adorable cheeks!  It's just a little harder on the arms and back :)
