Salt to Saint

 We had a great weekend with family!  Friday Lisa and Ann joined us with their kids while their husbands rode the Salt to Saint bike race. 

Friday everyone but me went to the bike finish line.  I got to take my Webelos on a scout hike.  :)  More about that later...

After the race we fed the riders, and let them shower...  they could have slept all day too...but we had to go play a little at least! :)  We took everyone to the splash pad on Main Street.

 The kids had a lot of fun, and we even ran into our Jacobson cousins!!  Andrew was so excited to see Logan!  They are the best of friends!

 The girls had a great time splashing and playing in the water.  It was a nice hot day!

 We let Ethan get in the water - boy did he love that!!!  He could have sat there all day.  He crawled up and down the little stream, splashing and laughing.  He was in heaven!

 We also got to see Spider Man. The kids thought that was pretty cool.

 We went home, had dinner and then the kids BEGGED, literally BEGGED to go to the park. They even helped clean up dishes and their toys so they could go.  So - we the girls took the kids to the park while the boys went to the awards ceremony.

 After the park we watched the BYU vs Utah Game.  I went to bed at 10... I had to give a RS lesson on Sunday and I didn't want to cry though the whole thing from being too tired! 

Sunday the kids played all morning.  They learned a new game - Chess - and they love it.  Chris and James taught them.  It was fun to watch them learn.  Abby and James got out Abby's guitar and started plucking along on that too. It was a fun relaxing morning. 

 The boys played with Lego's the whole weekend.  They love Lego's!! 

 It was really hard to say goodbye to all our company - it always feels so lonely afterwards!  Can't wait for them to come visit again....
