This summer, Abby has had the opportunity to take a 4-H class to learn how to do some dog training. They have mostly worked on agility and free-style. This week was their last week, so they did a performance at an old folks center. The elderly sure got a kick out of the fun the trainers and dogs were having!
We don't actually own a dog, so Abby's teacher let her borrow one of her dogs. His name is Tytus. He is a sheltie. They have grown quite the bond with each other. Abby's teacher brought him over to practice, and the boys had a great time playing with him after Abby got her practicing in. Boy do my kids LOVE dogs!!!
Here is Abby and Tytus at their performance. I'm so proud of how hard Abby has worked. She goes to dog training 3 times a week. She's had a great time. Come fall - Eric wants to join the class. I think it will be fun for both of them!
